usually major muscle need around 72hours to recover. therefore i think when you train ur major muscle (chest, leg, shoulder) you need to rest for around 2 to 3days b4 another training for the same part of muscle. Small muscle usually only need 48hours to recover.
Example:
Monday: Chest, Tricep, abs
Tue: Back, bicep,
Wed:Leg, abs
Thur: jogging or rest day
Fri start with monday session again..
